Baba and Poppy come to visit Braxton. Baba swears that Brax is going to have blue eyes. She thinks he looks like Josh. Baba held Brax while Poppy helped daddy build the gazebo on the deck.
Memorial Day at Aunt Holly's and Uncle Mark's. The entire Rega clan was there. Louie played with Big bad Joe. Jenelle changed Poopy diapers and Loupa takes a Siesta
Braxton's Hemangioma is growing still. We've met with the Pediatrician, Dermatologist at CHOP, A radiologist at Penn, and our Oculoplastic Surgeon. Fortunately, its a purely superficial hemangioma with no ocular component. This means that it shouldn't interfere with his vision or eye development. The consensus is to treat him with Steroid injections directly into the Henagioma. As of July 17th, he's had 2 treatments and it seems to have stopped growing. In fact, we think it has shrunk. We have a ton of these photos documenting the growth.
Braxton finally got his first real bath in the bath tub. No more sponge baths. Aunt Jenelle and Louie came over for dinner and a movie. Lou and Josh went to buy BBQ essentials while Jenelle and I dipped Brax in the tub. I was totally procrastinating on this one. I wanted to capture it all on film and we never seemed to find the time. Finally, no more excuses. Braxton LOVED IT!
My first Mother's Day at Nona's house. Big potluck brunch was had by all. Nona, Loupa, Louie, Baba, Poppy, GiGi, PopPop, Aunt Hol, Uncle Mark, Uncle Dave, Maureen, Michael, Kelly, Mike. Laurie and Mrs. Wightman stopped by in the afternoon to catch up.
Braxton is just hanging out. It was a beautiful spring day. He's still wearing those darn mittens because we thought he was scratching his eye. Erin Shalbrack came to visit Brax for the first time. Aunt Jenelle spent the day with Mommy too.
